I have always had a love for fashion and knew I would do something in the industry. I began my career in the Art School at the University of Kansas, and from there went into high end retail management specializing in styling, personal shopping, and visuals. While living in San Diego, CA, I was recruited to run a small cosmetics store and just fell in love. I decided to go back to school for skin care and makeup. I am a licensed Aesthetician in CA, and a certified Makeup Artist specializing in wedding, special occasion, and photography makeup.
Since 2002, I have been working part-time doing freelance makeup for such lines as Laura Mercier, Channel, Christian Dior, and Spa Winghaven in O'Fallon, MO while starting and caring for my family. In the fall of 2009, my oldest son started Kindergarten and I decided that it was time to start focusing on my career and lifetime ambition. Not only have I started Makeup by Elisabeth, but I have also decided to utilize my fashion background as well by adding Style by Elisabeth - personal styling on a budget.
Style by Elisabeth focuses on helping people dress in the latest high end trends, without having to spend the high end prices. I can do everything from weeding out your closet, taking you shopping, or even going shopping for you.
